This is a competitive culinary event for qualified U. S. Navy Culinary Specialists on February 10,
2012 at the Sheraton Oceanfront Hotel in Virginia Beach, VA. Only five teams will be chosen to
compete, one of which will be the returning champion team from USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN 71).
The rules are simple:

Teams must be comprised of 3 Navy Culinary Specialists
•
All team members must be E6 or below
•
Teams will be provided with specific instructions for preparation of the evening fare by
expert Chefs from the Culinary Institute of Virginia
•
Judging will be provided by top rated Chefs from the region
•
Audience members will be allowed to taste each entry and vote for their "People's
Choice"
Who May attend?
•
This event is open to everyone, service members and the public are cordially invited
•
Tickets are $40 each, 2 for $75 and includes food and two drink tickets. A DJ will be present and
dancing will follow the presentation of awards
•
Dress code for the evening is coat and tie / cocktail attire
•
Some sponsorship levels include free tables
